Thanks to enhanced technology, machines are doing more with less energy. An all-in-one copier, printer and fax machine provides three functions from one power source. In fact, all Pacific Office Automation equipment meets or exceeds Energy Star compliance standards.
Additionally, a good records management system not only improves workflow and provides data security; it is a cost-effective way to reduce paper waste. Gone are the days when incoming faxes transmit onto paper and customer orders must be copied multiple times. Now, those documents can be captured, distributed and stored electronically rather than end up in the shredder or recycling bin.
We recognize the environmental impact of these devices is greater than their daily functions. From the manufacture of the machines to the chemicals they use to their after-life, there are a plethora of environmental concerns. We partner only with manufacturers that take sustainability as seriously as we do. Our partners are dedicated to reducing greenhouse gases and preventing chemical pollution in the manufacture, shipping and recycling of their products.
When it comes to sustainability, we walk the talk. Pacific Office Automation recycles 99 percent or more of unwanted machines, toner and cardboard. Our drivers and technicians always remove waste products after setup for recycling. We also make it easy for our customers to recycle toner cartridges, with environmentally safe packaging and return shipping labels to send toner back to the manufacturers for recycling.
